With children recently returned to school, here at BW we wanted to provide your children with fun activities that promote mindfulness, encourage creativity and get kids outdoors.

These activities are designed for children aged between 6 – 9 years old. Adult supervision is highly recommended.

Tangram Shapes

Let’s a go on a creative adventure as we make Tangram shapes! This activity is perfect when you need some calm down, creative time! 

Simply cut out these Tan Shapes & use this Guide to help you make the most fun animals and shapes out of Tans! 

Remember: When using scissors to be careful and always have a grown up supervise.

EPISODE 3

CREATING YOUR VERY OWN LAVA LAMP

Join us as we make an awesome Lava Lamp. They are easy to make and a great homemade sensory activity everyone will enjoy! All you’ll need is an empty bottle, Water, Vegetable Oil, Food Colouring, (Alka-Seltzer or Berocca or Baking Soda & Citric Acid.) 

Always have a grown up supervise this activity. 

EPISODE 4

HAVE YOU FILLED A BUCKET TODAY?

This book is a guide to daily happiness for kids. Being happy isn’t just a feeling, it’s something that you carry with you all day. You can make yourself happy by making other people happy and by accepting kindness from others. 

Did you fill a bucket today? Join us as we draw our own bucket. You can do this activity every day, or hang the drawing we do together in a special place so you remember to fill your bucket every day. 

EPISODE 5

Mindful Exercises 

Join us as we go through our favourite mindful excerise 

We start by looking around for 5 things that you can see, and say them out loud. 
Now, pay attention to your body and think of 4 things that you can feel, and say them out loud. 
Listen for 3 sounds. 
Say two things you can smell.
Say one thing you can taste
Lastly, finish with Balloon Belly Breathing & Warrior Pose!
